Accelerationist Phone

This installation is conformed by a red telephone that receives automatized phone calls every 25 minutes in an exhibition room and a video of a waiting room in Amsterdam’s airport. The sounds reproducing when the viewer picks up the call are three pieces of audio made by computer; these pieces are very like the waiting music in company's phone lines. The accelerationism is a philosophical thesis created in England in early XXI century based on the premise that capitalism is taking us to disaster, one of its proposals is to create the same technologies that capitalism generated to take it into collapse before disaster occurs.
