This video features images from the Persian Gulf War (1990) taken from the cameras of United States bomber planes projected onto a girl while watching television in the comfort of her home.
The Gulf War was the first war broadcast live on television in history, Saddam Hussein expelled all the media from Kuwait, granting only permits to CNN, which reported directly to the entire West what was happening on radio waves.
At the bottom of the image is a song by the US band Parquet Courts, titled Uncast Shadow Of a Southern Myth, which narrates a poem about the US bombing of its population.
